At the 13th Symposium on Ionic Liquids held at Toki Messe, M2 student Tsuchikane gave a poster presentation. Besides the research presentation, he thoroughly enjoyed Niigata. The sushi was delicious!

At the 148th Conference of the Surface Technology Association held at Yamagata University's Yonezawa Campus, M2 students Nonami, Hara, and Nakajima, and M1 students Yamanaka, Narita, and Fujita gave oral presentations. The M1 students may have been nervous as it was their first oral presentation. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Yonezawa beef.

I went to Kamikochi with Professor Sakaguchi from Tottori University, who was in Nagano Prefecture for a conference. The three of us, including Professor Kuwahata from Osaka University, went to Zenkoji Temple.
