July 22-26, 2019
Assistant Professor Shimizu and M2 student Kamiya gave oral and poster presentations (a total of 4 presentations) at ECEE2019 in Glasgow, Scotland. They enjoyed Scottish drinks with Professor Sugimoto from the Faculty of Textile Science and Dr. Yoshii from AIST. It was Kamiya's first presentation in English, and he struggled quite a bit, but it was a good learning opportunity.
After the presentation, we also enjoyed extracurricular activities, such as trying local delicacies and visiting tourist spots.

2018
Undergraduate student Kamiya gave a poster presentation at the 85th Annual Meeting of the Electrochemical Society (Tokyo University of Science, Katsushika). After the presentation, he went sightseeing in Asakusa.
At the 8th CSJ Chemistry Festa (Funabori), M1 students Hirahara, Yatsuka, Shimizu, Onuki, and Kamiya presented posters.
Assistant Professor Shimizu gave a presentation at the 69th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry (Italy).
At the 48th Chubu Chemical Societies Joint Autumn Meeting (Gifu University), M2 student Kobayashi and M1 student Hirahara gave oral presentations.
B4 student Kimoto gave an oral presentation at the 86th Annual Meeting of the Electrochemical Society (Kyoto University). He was nervous.
2017
At the 136th meeting of the Surface Technology Association (Kanazawa University), M1 students Ogasawara, Yatsuka, and Hirahara gave oral presentations. They also enjoyed some delicious Kanazawa food.
Assistant Professor Shimizu presented a poster at the 68th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry (USA).
(My flight was canceled at Washington Airport, which made me a little anxious...)
At the Electrochemical Society's Autumn Meeting (Nagasaki University), M1 students Umeki, Shimizu, and Tsushima gave oral presentations (the photo is from Mt. Obasute in Nagano Prefecture).
Assistant Professor Shimizu gave a presentation at the 30th International Microprocesses and Nanotechnology Conference (MNC 2017, Korea).
2016
At PRiME2016 in Honolulu, Hawaii, M1 and M2 students gave poster presentations. Despite struggling with English, they did their best to explain their work.
Since we were in Hawaii, we also enjoyed our extracurricular activities.
Mende, Umeki, Yatsuka, and Tsushima presented posters at the 84th Annual Meeting of the Electrochemical Society (Tokyo Metropolitan University).
I was nervous because it was my first presentation, but I did my best.
