B4 student Yamamoto gave an oral presentation at the 90th Annual Meeting of the Electrochemical Society of Japan, held at the Yagiyama Campus of Tohoku Institute of Technology. His nervousness was evident as it was his first oral presentation, but he successfully completed it.

After that, I thoroughly enjoyed sightseeing in Sendai.

At the 147th Annual Meeting of the Surface Technology Association held at Chiba Institute of Technology, B4 students Yamanaka, Fujita, and Narita presented posters. Furthermore, Narita's presentation was highly regarded, and she received the Academic Encouragement Award . The title of the poster was "Alloy Deposition Behavior from Fe-Ni Alloy Plating Baths Using Trivalent Iron Ions."

At the Electrochemical Society Tokai and Tohoku Branch Joint Symposium held at Active Resorts Miyagi Zao in Miyagi Prefecture, M2 students Sugiyama and Kawai gave oral presentations. In addition, Sugiyama received the Student Outstanding Presentation Award .

At the 27th Young Researchers' Discussion Meeting of the Japan Society for Materials Science (1st Interdisciplinary Joint Research Meeting @Web), M1 student Tsuchikane gave an oral presentation. Furthermore, his presentation was highly regarded, and hereceived the Student Outstanding Presentation Award .

At the 63rd Battery Symposium held at the Fukuoka International Conference, M2 student Kawai, and M1 students Tsuchikane and Nishida gave oral presentations . The M1 students were very nervous as it was their first oral presentation, but they managed to complete it successfully.

We also enjoyed motsunabe (offal hot pot) and seafood.

At the 12th Chemical Society of Japan CSJ Chemistry Festa held at Tower Hall Funabori, M2 student Sugiyama, M1 students Tsuchikane and Nishida presented posters. We ate monjayaki. Sugiyama received the Excellent Poster Award (Physical Chemistry) .

At the 2022 Autumn Meeting of the Electrochemical Society, held at Kanagawa University's Minato Mirai Campus, M2 students Sugiyama and Kawai gave oral presentations.

I also enjoyed Chinese food in Chinatown.

Mr. Kimoto, a second-year master's student, gave a presentation at the Young Electrochemist Workshop of the Tokai Branch of the Electrochemical Society of Japan. The event was held online, connecting Nagoya, Mie, Shizuoka, and Nagano via the web.
